Moving from Dallas to Manhattan in the late '90s, I fancied myself a gay Mary Tyler Moore starring in a sitcom of my life called "Alphabet City." That's the title of my humorous memoir about life as a publicist for celebrities like Tyra, Whoopi, and later at glam magazine publisher Condé Nast.
